The effects of ED medications vary slightly depending on the type:

Sildenafil (Viagra): Takes effect in about 30-60 minutes after taking the pill. Its effects typically last for 4-6 hours.

Tadalafil (Cialis): Takes effect in about 30 minutes. Tadalafil lasts much longer, up to 36 hours, offering a larger window for sexual activity.

Tadalafil Strips: These dissolve under the tongue and are absorbed faster than tablets, typically taking effect in about 15-30 minutes. Like the tablets, their effects can last up to 36 hours.

All these medications require sexual stimulation to work and won't cause an erection without it.
